STILL LIFE Movie Clip

Tells the story of a woman who aspires to be an artist, but is stuck in an unhappy marriage in which she is dependent and living out the role of wife and mother. The film reflects the problems faced by a woman living out a traditional role, who, unable to achieve her goals or express her anger, turns her frustrations inward. In the process, mother and daughters roles reverse, creating a painful dynamic of moral support and suffocation.

Premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and was shown at the Montreal Festival of Films and Videos by Women … and at the Knitting Factory, New York City
